How can you help sustain community traditions and social change in the Philadelphia region?

Join a community of people are working to widen the way for people committed to folk and traditional arts, and for people working for meaningful alternatives for local communities.
Through movie screenings, facilitated discussions and performances, the Philadelphia Folklore Project, as producer, aims to illuminate how the featured four brilliant singers - mothers, refugees, immigrants, survivors of Liberia's civil wars - are indeed heroes in our midst.
PFP aims to provide internship and volunteer opportunities in which interns gain skills and experiences, while advancing public interest folklife work locally.
